Purpose of role
  • Electrical installations for commercial and industrial construction works
 Main duties and responsibilities                

Core objectives include:  

  • Installation of electrical systems for commercial projects
  • Interpretation of electrical and architectural drawings
  • Installation of structured cabling systems
  • Compliance with WHS, Environmental and quality management policies and procedures
  • DALI and Building automation systems installations and alterations  

The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

  • Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.
Person Specification
  • Certificate III in Electrical Technology Unrestricted, manual driver’s licenseCommunications licenceWhite CardSenior First Aid – CurrentPolice Clearance  
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role  
  • Understanding of general power and lighting arrangements in a commercial setting
  • Installation and wiring of switchboards and control circuits
  • Understanding of data and communication systems
  • Understanding of electrical and architectural drawings
  • Basic computer knowledge e.g., Ms word and email.

  • Overnight/multisite stays away for work may be required to fulfil the requirements of the role
